How to Use Apple AirDrop
Use AirDrop to send photos, documents, and links between Apple devices nearby without using email or cables.
Steps

Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth
on both devices. AirDrop uses these connections to find nearby Apple devices.

Open Control Center
on iPhone or iPad by swiping down from the top right corner. On Mac click the Finder menu and select "AirDrop."

Press and hold the networking box
in Control Center and tap the AirDrop icon. Choose "Contacts Only" or "Everyone" to set who can see your device.

Open the photo or file
you want to share and tap the share icon, which looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.

or device name that appears in the AirDrop section. The other person gets a notification to accept the file.
