How to Leave a Yelp Review for a Restaurant

Write and publish a Yelp review for a restaurant you visited.

Steps

Open the Yelp app or website
and sign in to your account. If you do not have one, create a Yelp account with your email.

Search for the restaurant
by name in the search bar. Tap or click on the restaurant's page to open it.

Scroll down and tap "Write a Review."
A form opens where you can rate the restaurant with 1 to 5 stars.

Type your review
in the text box. Describe your experience, the food quality, and the service. Keep your review honest and helpful.

Tap "Post"
to publish your review. Yelp may take a few minutes to check it before it appears on the restaurant's page.

Can I edit my Yelp review after posting it?Show

Yes, go to your profile, find the review, and tap "Edit" to update the text or star rating.
