How to Block Someone on Gmail

Stop unwanted emails from a specific sender by blocking them in Gmail.

Steps

Open Gmail
and find an email from the person you want to block. You can search their name in the search bar.

Click the three dots
in the top right corner of the email. A dropdown menu appears with several options.

Select "Block [sender name]"
from the menu and click "Block" to confirm. Future emails go to your Spam folder.

Unblock them anytime
by opening a blocked email and clicking "Unblock [sender name]" from the same menu.

Blocked emails go to your Spam folder automatically. They are deleted after 30 days.
