How to Report a Phishing Email

Report a suspicious phishing email to your email provider so they can block the scammer.

Steps

Open the suspicious email
in your inbox. Do not click any links or download attachments.

Click the three dots menu
near the top right of the email. Look for the "More" options icon.

Select "Report phishing"
from the menu. Gmail may also offer a "Report spam" option for less serious messages.

Click "Report Phishing Message"
to confirm. The email goes to Google for review and is removed from your inbox.
