How to Recover Deleted Emails

Retrieve emails you accidentally deleted before they are permanently removed.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open Gmail

and look for "Trash" or "Bin" in the folder list on the left side. Click on it to open.

  2. 2

    Find the email

you want to recover. You can scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top.

  3. 3

    Check the box

next to the email and click "Move to Inbox" in the toolbar. The email returns to your inbox.

  4. 4

    Act fast

because Gmail empties the Trash after 30 days. After that, the emails are gone for good.
