How to Search Old Emails
Find any email in your Gmail account using the search bar at the top of the page.
Steps

Go to Gmail
and find the search bar at the top of the page. It says "Search mail" inside the box.

Type a keyword
like the sender name, subject line, or a word from the email. Press Enter to search.

Use advanced filters
by clicking the down arrow in the search bar. You can search by date range or attachment type.

Browse the results
and click any email to open it. Searches look through your entire account including Spam.
