Block a user on Instagram to stop them from seeing your profile or contacting you.
Steps

Open the users profile.
Tap the search icon, type the persons name, and tap their profile.

Tap the three dots menu.
In the top right corner of their profile, tap the three dots to open options.

Select Block.
Tap the Block option from the menu that appears.

Tap Block Again to confirm that you want to block this user.
